Ronan Jennings joined e.surv as Managing Director of the business in January 2014, following a career encompassing many sectors.
e.surv has been operating in the UK since 1989 and is the wholly owned valuation supply business of LSL Property Services plc (LSL). LSL was acquired from Norwich Union in 2004, through an MBO backed by Private Equity. The company floated on the main London stock exchange in November 2006.
LSL owns the Your Move and Reeds Rains estate agency businesses, in addition to a variety of regional agency brands, including Marsh & Parsons in Central London. The Group also includes St Trinity Asset Management, Corporate Client Asset Management, Templeton LPA and a nationwide Lettings Division. It's a shareholder in Vibrant Green Energy, a provider of Energy Performance Certificates, LMS Conveyancing, TM Property and the Zoopla Property Portal.
In May 2010, the Group acquired the Home of Choice Mortgage Network, as part of its strategy to further develop and expand its financial services footprint. In late 2010, LSL plc acquired Pink Home Loans and this business continues to trade separately. In July of 2011, The Mortgage Alliance was acquired from Santander Group, further strengthening the FS presence. Collectively, these FS businesses are known as First Complete.
e.surv offers a range of innovative and cost effective Valuation & Panel Management solutions to the industry, In 2015, e.surv managed an estimated 55%+ of total UK mortgage valuation market demand on behalf of its lender partners, providing unrivalled market oversight.
Following the recommendations of Cross Party working groups including Lenders, CML and RICS, e.surv has taken the lead in the creation of a Panel Managers Association - an organisation with a brief to agree minimum and aspirational service levels for lender clients.
e.surv has established its position in the market through a combination of substantial investment and a consistently outstanding service proposition, which sees the company being objectively recognised as the market leading UK service provider, based on a variety of independent measurements.
In June of 2013, e.surv acquired the assets of Scottish surveying business Walker Fraser Steele, and now operates under this trading style in Scotland.
