In our latest edition of Green Watch, Corrina Jones MRICS discusses a range of topics including COP 28, the impact of material information disclosures on the property market, and the challenge facing policy makers as energy giants ramp up the production of fossil fuels.

Corrina also discusses carbon credits and Retrofit Credits which are an innovative new development that unlocks additional funding for retrofit projects within the Social Housing sector. In addition, the Green Finance Institute is advocating for a new funding solution called Property Linked Finance (PLF). The cost of the retrofit is linked to the property, rather than the property owner. Could this work, particularly for properties which require a whole house retrofit?
There is also a spotlight on driving green. With innovation accelerating EV ranges, will we see an end to ‘range anxiety?’
