We continue our eight-step journey with everything you need to know about finding a solicitor.
So, you’ve agreed on an offer and now you need a solicitor or conveyancer to transfer the legal ownership of the property from the seller to you.
Choose wisely, and remember, solicitors must be members of the Law Society, and conveyancers must be members of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers. Many larger solicitors’ practices employ in-house conveyancers to do their conveyancing for them, so do your research.
